AION DOT 4 is formulated with high molecular weight polyalkylene glycol ethers and borate esters to provide a brake fluid with a high boiling point, meeting DOT 4 specifications. This advanced formulation helps maintain a higher vapor lock point compared to traditional glycol ether-based fluids throughout its service life. It also includes corrosion inhibitors to protect metallic brake components and reduce oxidation at elevated temperatures.
AION 4 is suitable for vehicles with anti-lock (ABS) braking systems, as well as hydraulic clutch systems that require conventional fluids. It is recommended for passenger cars, commercial road transport, off-highway vehicles, agricultural tractors, and motorcycles that require DOT 4, SAE J1704, or ISO 4925 Class 4 fluid. AION 4 is miscible and compatible with high-quality DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids, though optimal performance is ensured when used alone. It is recommended to change the brake fluid in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
