ASTRA XP is formulated with high-performance base stocks and enhanced with an advanced proprietary additive system to deliver long-lasting engine protection. It effectively resists oil breakdown, maximizing wear protection and preventing harmful sludge buildup during extended oil change intervals. ASTRA XP is designed to safeguard against Low-Speed Pre-Ignition (LSPI) in TGDI engines and helps minimize turbo coking and deposits, reducing the risk of turbocharger overheating or bearing failure.
Recommended for high-output gasoline engines in North American, European, and Japanese passenger cars, sport utility vehicles, vans, and light-duty trucks where API SP, SN Plus, ILSAC GF-6, and/or API SN, API SM, or API SL quality oils are specified. It is suitable for passenger cars and light-duty vehicles running on gasoline and ethanol-containing fuels up to E85. ASTRA XP oils are ideal for modern turbocharged direct injection gasoline engines requiring LSPI protection. Please note that ILSAC GF-6B is not backward compatible with older engines.
